Layton Williams, 24, made his West End debut in 2007, starring as Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre, becoming the first mixed race person to undertake the role.

The Bury born actor was later awarded a scholarship to the Sylvia Young Theatre School before continuing his studies at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Since then, he's appeared on the small screen starring opposite Jack Whitehall in Bad Education, and Olivia Colman in BBC comedy Beautiful People. Moving back to his roots, Williams is next set to star in Sheffield Crucible’s production of Kiss Me, Kate in December 2018, before joining the cast of West End musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, from January 28 2019, at London’s Apollo Theatre.
